Katie Goughan 

    Hi there! My name is Katie, or KG (as most people call me). I was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida and continue my life here! I grew up dancing and competing in South Florida since I was six years old. I continued dancing after high school and began teaching dance in 2011. In addition to dance, for as long as I can remember, I always had an interest in photography. I was drawn to the idea of capturing any moment in time, and then, being able to treasure those memories with my friends and family. 

    In college, I enrolled in photography courses to further educate myself; simultaneously my love for photography grew. I would use dancers from my studio as subjects for course assignments. I quickly realized blending my passions for dance and photography was what I was meant to do. 

    Additionally, I have years of experience working for dance competitions and conventions as a; social media manager, on-site coordinator, videographer and photographer. Currently, I am touring nationally with JUMP Dance Convention, as one of two main photographers. 

    Lastly, I want to share my knowledge and appreciation for this incredible art form to the next generation. My love for teaching and extensive background in dance, allows me to capture unique images. As well as creating a positive and expressive environment, encouraging individual artistry.
